‘Peaky Blinders,’ ‘Project Runway,’ and more drop Weinstein credits amidst accusations


The career repercussions for Harvey Weinstein have started to come in the wake of dozens of women coming forward to accuse him of sexually harassing and assaulting them.

Weinstein’s own company fired him after the reports came to light, he may face expulsion from the Producer’s Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and now several popular television shows are dropping Weinstein-related credits from their productions.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in wake of the allegations Peaky Blinders — a television drama starring Cillian Murphy — is removing a production card for The Weinstein Company from its show. Read more…
